The White Block Easter Egg Jump is a basic trick used in Super Mario Maker that causes Mario to perform an otherwise impossible small jump.
How It Works[]
The trick is a throwback to a hidden secret from Super Mario Bros. 3. This trick only works in the Super Mario Bros. 3 game style while holding down on a white block Semisolid Platform.
History[]
In Super Mario Bros. 3, when Mario crouched on the white block in World 1-3 he would fall behind the stage and could walk behind the black curtain at the end of the level. Doing so would grant Mario a Warp Whistle, which could be used to skip ahead to a later World.
